Custom silicone & LSR sealing components Drawing review · 24–48h quotation · Global delivery

/ INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Sealing solutions engineered around the equipment.

Industrial seals do not succeed because of shape alone. Media, temperature, pressure, movement, mating geometry and assembly method must be considered together. We develop custom silicone and LSR components around the actual service environment.

/ APPLICATION-LED DEVELOPMENT

One sealing partner for different equipment programs.

Seals For Industry supports drawing-based projects from early geometry review through tooling, sampling and controlled production. Instead of forcing a catalog part into the assembly, we review the sealing interface and recommend a manufacturable component.

Typical projects include enclosure gaskets, sensor seals, valve diaphragms, connector seals, dust boots, bellows, overmolded assemblies and custom profiles. The final design is confirmed against the customer’s own performance and validation requirements.

/ APPLICATION AREAS

Where custom sealing geometry creates value.

EL

Electronics & Enclosures

Custom gaskets and molded seals help protect housings, displays, connectors, control boxes and electronic assemblies from dust, splash and environmental exposure.

  • Frame and perimeter gaskets
  • Connector and cable-entry seals
  • Conductive silicone interfaces
  • Overmolded plastic or metal inserts
Key inputs: IP target, compression, housing flatness, UV and temperature
AU

Automotive & EV

Vehicle sealing components may face vibration, thermal cycling, outdoor exposure, oils and assembly automation. Material and geometry must match the exact location.

  • Sensor and connector seals
  • Lighting and charging-interface gaskets
  • Battery and electronics enclosure seals
  • Protective bellows and boots
Key inputs: fluid exposure, temperature peaks, vibration and life-cycle validation
ME

Medical Equipment

Precision LSR and silicone parts can support devices requiring repeatable geometry, soft contact, flexible response and controlled appearance.

  • Diaphragms and valve elements
  • Device housing seals
  • Flexible sleeves and protective components
  • Silicone-to-plastic overmolding
Key inputs: device contact, cleaning method, regulatory responsibility and inspection level
IN

Industrial Machinery

Pumps, valves, actuators, instruments and automation equipment often require non-standard seals that fit existing grooves, covers and moving interfaces.

  • Static flange and cover gaskets
  • Valve diaphragms and flexible elements
  • Large-diameter custom rings
  • Dust covers and motion boots
Key inputs: pressure, media, motion, groove dimensions and maintenance interval
OD

Outdoor & Lighting

Outdoor housings need sealing components that maintain compression while exposed to water, UV, ozone and repeated temperature changes.

  • LED and luminaire gaskets
  • Outdoor control-box seals
  • Weatherproof frame gaskets
  • Lens and cover sealing profiles
Key inputs: weather exposure, compression set, housing material and assembly torque
SP

Specialty Equipment

Laboratory, aerospace-support, defense-support and specialized instruments may require unusual geometry, smaller production quantities or project-specific documentation.

  • Complex molded profiles
  • Low-volume custom seals
  • Multi-material bonded components
  • Project-defined inspection records
Key inputs: drawing revision, critical dimensions, traceability and acceptance criteria

APPLICATION REVIEW

Define the operating window before selecting the compound.

A useful RFQ does not need every answer, but it should identify the conditions that can change seal performance. Our engineering review focuses on the missing decisions before tooling begins.

01Sealing target

Dust, splash, liquid, gas, vacuum, pressure retention or EMI-related function.

02Service environment

Continuous and peak temperature, UV, ozone, chemicals, fuels, oils and cleaning agents.

03Mechanical interface

Groove size, available compression, mating-surface variation, fastener spacing and assembly path.

04Movement & life

Static, rotating, reciprocating or repeated flexing, including target cycles and maintenance interval.

05Production plan

Prototype quantity, annual volume, color, packaging, inspection documents and delivery schedule.

/ APPLICATION FAQ

Questions that improve the first quotation.

Can one silicone material be used for every application?

No. General-purpose silicone is versatile, but fuels, oils, chemicals, electrical performance, medical-device responsibility and extreme service conditions may require a different compound or separate validation.

Can you review an existing groove and mating assembly?

Yes. Send the groove dimensions, mating surfaces, compression direction, assembly method and known failure mode. A 3D model is especially useful for complex or non-circular seals.

Can the same seal be used across several equipment models?

Possibly, but each interface must be compared for groove dimensions, compression, fastening and operating conditions. Standardizing one seal can reduce cost only when the mechanical window is genuinely shared.

What should be supplied for an application review?

Provide a PDF, STEP or CAD file, media, temperature, pressure, motion, target performance, prototype quantity, annual volume and any critical inspection or documentation requirements.

HAVE AN APPLICATION?

Send the interface, not only the seal dimensions.
